Hi! My name is Dax, isn’t that cool? Bet I’m the only Dax you know. I’m two-and-a-half years old, and moved here from Korea. People ask me what my name means, and I don’t know, but there was a god, "the son of Night", who was the bringer of daylight to the world, though. Makes me pretty special!
So here’s the scoop. I’m a big boy, 95 pounds and strong! I really need to go to training ‘cause there are a few things I’m working on. When I ride in the car, I try hard to sit in the front with you. Also, I just know the food on the kitchen counter is there for me to take when I need a snack.
I’d like to have a fenced yard to run around in, and burn off energy, but as long as my family exercises me A LOT a fence is not mandatory.
Thunderstorms confuse me, they are louder here than in Korea. I can’t figure out what’s happening, so I run around the house really fast and sometimes shake. I take melatonin to help calm me down, but reconditioning is going to help me too.
I am unsure about other dogs, and I like to chase cats, so best not to have them with me.
You can see I’m a big, rambunctious fella, needing strong guidance, training and a lot of exercise. You will be rewarded with big sloppy kisses, warm hugs and lots of love!
