Paddy has a sad story. Last summer he was picked up as a stray and held at animal services because his owner was hospitalized. He was eventually claimed, but last week someone left him tied to a bench at the shelter. This time no one came for him.
Patches is a typical happy, friendly. toy-loving golden. He adores toys and in fact "picked" one off the shelf as we were leaving animal services. They were kind enough to let him keep it! He is about 7 years old, big-boned and good-sized, approximately 85 pounds. He has a lush red coat, nice-looking teeth and is HW-. Patches gets along well with other dogs; we are awaiting a cat test.
This boy likes car rides and acts like he's never met a stranger. He has nice manners, but could use a little work on the leash. He's strong and he pulls.
Whoever gets this boy is going to be very lucky. He is just a sweetheart.
