June 2^nd Foster update – Dallas   Dallas continues to adjust well to his temporary surroundings over the past few weeks.  He has been a joy to have in our home.  He certainly appreciates his Kong toy with treats inside, but just as easily enjoys a cube of ice as a treat.  He is content being outside and is currently our resident lizard catcher.  Of course he loves attention and the all important belly rubs.  As you can see he is a ham for the camera and we love taking pictures of him. Foster Update:

Dallas is a very sweet, beautiful, and loving 3 year old. Characteristic of other Goldens he loves to be around people and is very playful and active. He is inquisitive yet comfortable around strangers. He also has been so gentle around our 2 female Golden Retrievers, Maya and Cheyenne. Dallas loves to play, run, and go for walks with them. He has no food agressions and has no issues with sharing toys with our female Goldens. He listens well and understands commands. Dallas also loves exercise and walks very well on his leash. He loves attention and wants to be close to you. Even while writing this and only after being in our home for a few days he has his head and one of his paws gently resting on my lap. Dallas is very special, and he will be a wonderful and loyal addition to any family.

Dallas is a sweetheart of a dog, typical golden, very friendly, gentle and smart. Light HW+. He's 70#, light blond and going to be devilishly handsome when he grows a good coat.
