Nala is a young female golden mix(3-4 years old) GRRSWF rescued from a shelter. Nala is a sweet and docile girl. She walks great on a leash, is not timid in the least, very gentle, happy and a total love bug. She loves everyone and is well behaved. She seems elated to have new toys and a soft bed to sleep on. She came to us with a shoulder injury that required amputation. Being a tripod does not slow her down at all. She can jump into a car without a problem, however a home with stairs would not be the best for her. She has lived with dogs and enjoys having the company. Nala was adopted and returned when her new owner became ill.  Nala is the perfect girl and will be a wonderful companion for the lucky family she chooses.

All GRRSWF dogs have undergone an full examination by a veterinarian and any health concerns have been addressed. All dogs are current on vaccines, have been tested for heartworm and intestinal parasites, and are provided with monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives for the duration of their time with us.

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs but live outside our usual area of operations, please us know as soon as possible; this will allow us to ascertain whether we have volunteers in your area who would be able to assist in processing your application, and may save you from completing an application that we might be unable to process. Unfortunately, much as we would like to, there are some locations that we are simply unable to cover as we do not have sufficient representation in that area to perform the required home visits prior to the adoption, or follow-up visits afterward.
