Learn more about the Golden Retriever. A goofy giant
Wally is a gentle giant of a golden who tips the scales at 123 pounds (yes, he needs to shed a few!). A happy-go-lucky chap, he is well-behaved and friendly to everyone he meets. Wally is excellent around other dogs and adores children. He walks nicely on the leash, is crate-trained and always has a big, goofy smile on his face. Wally is 6 years old. He and his parents, Lacey Ray Sunshine and Hunter, lost their home due to family circumstances. This dog is currently in one of our wonderful Foster Homes for evaluation and lots of love. All of our dogs stay in their Foster Homes for a minimum two week evaluation period, then remain there until their Forever Home finds them. All GRRSWF dogs have undergone an full examination by a veterinarian and any health concerns have been addressed. All dogs are current on vaccines, have been tested for heartworm and intestinal parasites, and are provided with monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives for the duration of their time with us.
