Here is what we know about five year old Louie so far.  He is an owner surrender.  No fault of his or his owner.  Life got in the way of both.  He seems like a very nice dog, pretty obviously an alpha male.  He is still intact, will be neutered tomorrow.  He is about five years old.  He apparently has only been an outside dog so he may not be house broken.  He seems healthy and is really a beautiful red boy.  He didn't seem to know any commands.  Clearly he is a bit stressed, not knowing who we are or where he is.  We did a short cat scan and while he was interested he wasn't crazed and didn't seem to want to go after the cat.  I suspect that once Louie gets into a good home environment he will settle down and be a wonderful addition to most families.
