Bella is a real sweetheart and a delight to be with.  We asked her foster mom if she would give us an update on her.  Here is what she wrote. 

" I picked her up this past Tuesday. She was a lovely car companion and all week she has loved to go "bye bye" whenever possible!                                                         

She loves to go for walks, and has quite a sassy gait!
She love it when I brushed her beautiful coat of hair this week.
She loves to snuggle and get petted. She nudges when I stop, asking for more!
She showed no interest in stuffed toys or balls this week.
She did not jump on furniture, or chew anthing.
She knows sit, and shake.
She did not beg or bother me while I was eating.
She slept by my bed on her own bed, sleeping through the nite.
No accidents. She makes a little noise when she wants to go out, but never barked all week.
She met lots of other dogs, and her tail was wagging nonstop!
I took her to a few social events and she was very well mannered. (No jumping on anyone.)
She was ok on the leash, but seemed to wander instead of staying in a steady heel position, and I couldn't help but wonder if it was because of the cone on her head or if she hasn't had much training.
My neighbors have 3 boys, ages 10 to 16. She was fine with all three as they came to visit several times. She did not see any younger kids this week."

Bella is currently in one of our wonderful Foster Homes for evaluation and lots of love. All of our dogs stay in their Foster Homes for a minimum two week evaluation period, then remain there until their Forever Home finds them.

All GRRSWF dogs have undergone an full examination by a veterinarian and any health concerns have been addressed. All dogs are current on vaccines, have been tested for heartworm and intestinal parasites, and are provided with monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives for the duration of their time with us.

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs but live outside our usual area of operations, please us know as soon as possible; this will allow us to ascertain whether we have volunteers in your area who would be able to assist in processing your application, and may save you from completing an application that we might be unable to process. Unfortunately, much as we would like to, there are some locations that we are simply unable to cover as we do not have sufficient representation in that area to perform the required home visits prior to the adoption, or follow-up visits afterward.
