Learn more about the Golden Retriever.
Arielle is a 1 1/2 year old small golden that currently weighs 39 lbs. She was a stray at a shelter with her sibling, Emmet. Her foster family said she is a sweetheart and learns quickly. She is an active dog that will need some training, but has learned sit and lay down in just a few days. She does counter surf, so she will also have to learn some manners. She is great with other dogs and likes to play. She does not like to use the bathroom on a leash, so a fenced yard is preferred. A home with cats is not recommended because she takes too much interest in them. Arielle will do best with an active family. All GRRSWF dogs have undergone an full examination by a veterinarian and any health concerns have been addressed. All dogs are current on vaccines, have been tested for heartworm and intestinal parasites, and are provided with monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives for the duration of their time with us.
