Molly came to us after her former owner was unable to keep her. She is a sweet 4 year-old girl who has been charming everyone she meets.

Molly's Foster Home has only had her for a couple of days as of 09/20/10 but gave us the following preliminary report, "She is a joy!  She loves the other dogs and has blended in quite well.  She does love to swim and play fetch."

UPDATE 09/21/10 : "She fit in with the other dogs for the most part, we noticed that she is a little possessive in certain area's like while on the couch she is a little snappy to the others and then the bigger issue is toys she was very snappy with Hope and Clifford once each over the laser light and the toy box. So for now no more laser light although she loves it. We will work on this with her.  The sensitive stomach the owner warned us about has not been an issue so far, no accidents in the house. Not a barker she has not barked one time yet. At bed time she was a little nervous but after that she found a spot she was fine for the night, no issue with the dogs. So all in all it was a really good day for us her and our puppies. We are going to give her another bath later today and brush her real good."

This dog is currently in one of our wonderful Foster Homes for evaluation and lots of love. All of our dogs stay in their Foster Homes for a minimum two week evaluation period, then remain there until their Forever Home finds them.

All GRRSWF dogs have undergone an full examination by a veterinarian and any health concerns have been addressed. All dogs are current on vaccines, have been tested for heartworm and intestinal parasites, and are provided with monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives for the duration of their time with us.

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs but live outside our usual area of operations, please us know as soon as possible; this will allow us to ascertain whether we have volunteers in your area who would be able to assist in processing your application, and may save you from completing an application that we might be unable to process. Unfortunately, much as we would like to, there are some locations that we are simply unable to cover as we do not have sufficient representation in that area to perform the required home visits prior to the adoption, or follow-up visits afterward.
