Daisy is a real sweetheart. She came with her nails painted purple, so that tells us how good she is with kids! She came from a home with six children. She is about three years old. Her former family was forced to let her go due to a family situation and we thank them for allowing us to find a wonderful new home for Daisy.

She had been given a rather odd haircut, even her face, ears and whiskers, so she looks a little strange right now but we have seen photos of her with a full coat and she is one fabulous looking little Golden girl.

She is great with other dogs, even crazy puppies. She loves people and is a leaner. She takes treats so gently. We do not know about cats yet. Daisy is house trained. Rides great in the car and walks great on a leash. She recently had a litter, her puppies were sold and now she was offered for sale.

Daisy came to us on 08/08/10 and will be going to our vet for a complete physical, whatever vaccines she needs, treatment of an ear infection and to be spayed.

This dog is currently in one of our wonderful Foster Homes for evaluation and lots of love. All of our dogs stay in their Foster Homes for a minimum two week evaluation period, then remain there until their Forever Home finds them.

All GRRSWF dogs have undergone an full examination by a veterinarian and any health concerns have been addressed. All dogs are current on vaccines, have been tested for heartworm and intestinal parasites, and are provided with monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives for the duration of their time with us.

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs but live outside our usual area of operations, please us know as soon as possible; this will allow us to ascertain whether we have volunteers in your area who would be able to assist in processing your application, and may save you from completing an application that we might be unable to process. Unfortunately, much as we would like to, there are some locations that we are simply unable to cover as we do not have sufficient representation in that area to perform the required home visits prior to the adoption, or follow-up visits afterward.
