Harrington is a four month old puppy who joined us on Monday, June 21. All we know at the moment is that he somehow ended up in a shelter. He is good with other dogs and loves everybody - typical Golden puppy.

 

He does look like he's going to be quite a big boy so potential adopters should be willing to have a large, gangly, uncoordinated lug for the first year or so.

 

Harrington has been neutered, brought current on his vaccines, and thoroughly vetted. He is in his wonderful Foster Home for evaluation and lots of love. All of our dogs stay in their Foster Homes for a minimum two week evaluation period, then remain there until their Forever Home finds them.

PLEASE NOTE: We serve Southwest Florida from Naples to Sarasota, and sometimes slightly beyond if needed or possible. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs but live outside our usual area of operations, please us know as soon as possible; this will allow us to ascertain whether we have volunteers in your area who would be able to assist in processing your application, and may save you from completing an application that we might be unable to process. Unfortunately, there are some locations that we are simply unable to cover. Much as we would like to, we are unable to work with families on the East coast of Florida as we do not have sufficient representation in that area to perform the required home visits prior to the adoption, or follow-up visits afterward.
