Teddy is a courtesy posting for a friend of GRRSWF. He was recently returned to his breeder and this is what Katy tells us about him:
"Teddy is a six year old neutered Flat-coated Retriever who is housebroken, current on shots, heartworm negative and displays a nice temperament around other dogs. We have visited Petsmart twice in a week and each time we greeted strange dogs, he offered a wagging tail and friendly demeanor.
Teddy needs a new forever home where he will be loved and spoiled rotten. His first home didn't provide the time or attention he needed and he barked and whined a lot. We have had Teddy for 9 days now and he seldoms barks and whines because of the time and attention we have given him.
Teddy would fit best in a home with older children, and / or a household that has one or two other dogs, preferably spayed females. He's a well mannered house dog and doesn't appear to be a counter cruiser. He is a little too excitable with cats and should go to a home without any feline residents. Teddy, like most Flat Coated Retrievers who are energetic and require a lot of time and attention from their owners for them to be happy.
