Mia came to us from a local animal shelter. She is 1 to 1.5 years old, spayed, 61 lbs, medium blonde, and very beautiful.
Mia’s Foster Mom tells us that she is very sweet, very attentive and loves to play. She is a happy, friendly girl who is going to make a fantastic addition to some lucky family. She rides well in the car and tends to just fall asleep.
Mia did chew up a pillow on the first day in her foster home so we think it’s best that she be crated when her family isn’t home – just until she’s old enough to understand what belongs to her. She is otherwise not at all destructive, and is fully housetrained.

Mia is ready to go to her forever home, just as soon as we know who that is.
Mia came to us on 09/21/09 and is currently in one of our wonderful foster homes for evaluation and lots of love. All of our dogs stay in their foster homes for a minimum two week evaluation period, then remain there until their forever home finds them.

We serve Southwest Florida from Naples to Sarasota, and sometimes slightly beyond if needed. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs but live outside our usual area of operations, please state that in your initial contact with us. This will allow us to ascertain whether we have volunteers in your area who would be able to assist in processing your application; unfortunately, there are some locations that we are simply unable to cover.
