Beau is a beautiful Golden/Great Pyrenees mix who is 4-5 years old. He is a gentle, loving boy who would dearly love to be a lap dog, actually he's quite convinced that he is the appropriate size to be just that.

Despite having lived with children all his life, Beau has decided that he'd rather be the baby in the house so he will not be going to a home with children or with children who regularly visit.

Beau charms everyone he meets and is an incredible lover, snuggler and leaner.

Beau is currently in one of our wonderful foster homes for evaluation and lots of love. All of our dogs stay in their foster homes for a minimum two week evaluation period, then remain there until their forever home finds them.

We serve Southwest Florida from Naples to Sarasota, and sometimes slightly beyond if needed. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs but live outside our usual area of operations, please us know as soon as possible; this will allow us to ascertain whether we have volunteers in your area who would be able to assist in processing your application, and may save you from completing an application that we might be unable to process. Unfortunately, there are some locations that we are simply unable to cover. Much as we would like to, we are unable to work with families on the East coast of Florida as we do not have sufficient representation in that area to perform home visits prior to the adoption, or follow-up visits afterward.
