At just a year old and weighing in at 75 lbs, Skyllar is a strong, playful girl who still has that puppy energy and enthusiasm. She was lovingly surrendered after becoming too much for her previous owner to handle, and she’s now looking for an active, dog-savvy home where she can thrive.

Skyllar loves people and attention—she’s convinced she’s a lap dog and has zero shame about climbing onto furniture for cuddles or a better view of her humans. She’s crate trained, potty trained, and gets along well with other dogs, according to her previous owner. No cats for this girl though—she's got a little too much interest in them.

Skyllar enjoys running in a securely fenced yard, and while she’s working on leash manners with a trainer, she’s very strong and will need ongoing guidance. She's also a bit mouthy when she wants attention and has been known to indulge in some classic doodle mischief—yes, she’s a counter surfer, so don’t leave your snacks unattended!

Skyllar would do best in a home with teens or adults—her size and energy are just too much for young kids. She needs a confident, active family who will give her the structure, playtime, and love she craves.
