Meet Poochie – Our Brave, Fluffy Ray of Sunshine ☀️

Poochie is a sweet-as-sugar Goldendoodle with a heart full of love and a spirit that lights up the room—even though she can’t see it. This beautiful girl is blind, but don’t let that fool you—she navigates life with grace, confidence, and a tail that never stops wagging.

At around 1 year old and weighing 40lbs, Poochie has already captured the hearts of everyone at the rescue with her gentle soul and courageous heart. She loves cuddles, soft voices, and belly rubs, and she quickly bonds with kind humans who give her time and patience. She might bump into a few things at first, but give her a consistent layout and a little love, and she’ll map your heart (and your home) in no time.

Poochie is also quite the vocal gal! She tends to bark, especially when she's unsure of her surroundings or trying to communicate. It’s part of how she explores and connects with the world—think of it as her way of saying, “Hey, I’m here!” Her bark also helps her navigate the outdoors. 

She’s great with other calm, friendly dogs and cats, making her a wonderful addition to a multi-pet household. Her pet housemates would have to patient if she bumps into them and understand she can't see dog language cues. Poochie would thrive in a peaceful home with people who understand her special needs and appreciate her expressive personality.

She is house-trained, crate trained, spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and ready to find a forever home where she can feel safe, loved, and cherished for the incredible pup she is. She does take daily eye drops for lubrication.
