Tasha is a 7 year old loving female golden retriever.  She was rescued from a breeding facility. She is a people dog, wants to be by her human at all times. She would love to snuggle on the couch but she will need help getting up there.  Tasha continually attempts the bed but she is too short and is not a jumper.  She is very submissive but not shy, she will poke her snoot right in to you if you are not paying attention or she sees your hands are free!  She will give you belly any chance she gets. She sleeps through the night, holds her bladder well.  She is fully house broken, does not chew anything but her bones.  She especially loves “dog crack” chicken chips! She loves treats, but has not learned “easy or gentle” she will snatch food.  Tasha is food driven, she will steal other dogs food if you are not watching.  She is not aggressive, just sneaks her way into other pups bowls when they take a break.  She is currently under training for sit, stay, no bark, and walking on the right.  Tasha will walk on the leash and she looks forward to a morning and night walk.  Tasha will fetch and bring the ball back to you, but likes to hold on to it.  She loves squeaky toys and will run with other dogs.  Tasha may have thunderphobia, she seems to hide or get closer to her human when a storm is coming through.  She does not shake or cry, just liked to hide or be close to her human or another dog.  Tasha is currently on a diet and does well with green beans and seems to enjoy apples and pumpkin.  She very rarely barks, just when she is doing her job…postman, amazon, another dog strolling by.  A very normal well adjusted golden retriever with a big loving heart and an attention hound who very much wants to please her human. She has not been tested with cats.
