Lady is an 8 year old Great Pyrenees (DNA tested).  She was adopted by a great supporter and friend to GRRSWF.  Unfortunately, her owner had to change her housing situation due to medical issues.  The good news is that Lady has been very well cared for and spoiled with love.  Lady weighs about 80lbs and is a very young 8.  She shows no signs of aging.  She is incredibly agile and can easily jump a three foot fence.   She is happy, gentle and easy going. She would love a fenced yard and a dog friend.  She has not been tested with cats. 

Lady is a classic Great Pyrenees.  Because she is a "guardian" dog, she tends to be very focused on her surroundings.  She loves to be outside watching over her home and does bark to warn everyone when something doesn’t seem right to her.  An ideal home would be a small farm or single family home with a big yard and a fence.

She makes everyone smile.  She's friendly, happy, and just seems to love life.  She is easy to care for.  She gets along great with other dogs, and will not usually pester you for attention unless she's trying to "tell you" something.  Lady is a low maintenance girl who responds best to praise and positive reinforcement.  She will bond very strongly once you earn her trust and love.
