Icey (now known as Honey) is a retired English cream breeding dog. At 4-5 years of age, she came to us via our Golden Years program that works with breeders throughout Florida to rehome golden girls who have been used for breeding. Honey has been in her current foster since mid-November and has made great strides in learning "life skills" such as walking on a leash and riding in a car. She adores other dogs, is excellent with cats, and loves to play ball. Honey is still extremely shy and wary of strangers, but she is coming out of her shell more and more each day. Her ideal home would be a single person or a couple without children (she is gentle with everyone she meets, but we think small kids might make her nervous), at least one other dog who would play with her, a fenced yard, and the chance to go for long daily walks.
