Jozze is an 8-year-old female purebred who comes to us via our friends at the Polk County shelter. Sadly, her owner lost her job and could no longer afford to keep Jozze, so the shelter was kind enough to send her our way. Jozze is in need of medical care, for three  masses that we hope are benign, as well as for fleas and a resulting skin infection. She appears to be healthy otherwise and has stolen the hearts of everyone she's met. She is a very sweet girl.

All GRRSWF dogs have undergone a full examination by a veterinarian, and any health concerns have been addressed. PLEASE NOTE: We serve Southwest Florida from Naples to Ocala. If you live OUTSIDE of our service area and are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please note that we will only consider an application for senior dogs (over the age of 8) or dogs with special needs (usually medication).  BEFORE submitting your application, send an email to info@GRRSWF.org to request an exception to our service area. If that approval is given, you will be asked to complete an application, clearly stating on it that you are interested in a special needs or senior dog.  However, please be aware that, unfortunately, there are some locations we simply cannot cover because we do not have sufficient representation in those areas to perform the required home visits prior to the adoption, or follow-up visits afterward. If that is the case, we will be happy to refer you to a local rescue or shelter.
